Tri to beat blood cancer

The ultimate triathlete – swimmer, cyclist, runner and fundraiser!

Ancestral home of the Churchill family and a UNESCO World Heritage site, Blenheim Palace is a picturesque and magnificent setting for demonstrating your athletic excellence. You’ll swim in the spectacular Great Lake, cycle around the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside and finally run around the splendid Palace itself. Whether you pick the sprint or super sprint in this season opener, it’s a marvellous setting to test out your running, cycling swimming abilities….and of course your fundraising skills!

Why you’re going to join Team Bloodwise

  • Access to professional training days from RG Active, one of the UK’s leading sports coaching companies. You’ll be thinking you can take on Jonny Brownlee when you’ve done these
  • Full training plans for all ability levels to help you deliver your personal best
  • Fundraising support so good you’ll need to turn off your Just Giving alerts
  • And to reward your hard work fundraising we have a couple of incentives for you
    • Once you raise your first £20, we’ll get a high spec running shirt out in the post to you
    • As soon as you get past £200 funds you’ve earned yourself a free triathlon race belt
    • Raise £400 and you’re going to be swim/cycle/road-testing a brand spanking new high spec triathlon suit

Your entry fee only covers the cost of the event. We encourage all charity entrants to get their hands on a brand new triathlon suit by raising at least £400.

Why your help matters

  • Blood cancer is the third biggest cancer killer and it’s growing – it takes more lives every year than prostate or breast cancer
  • Blood cancer doesn’t discriminate – it can affect people of any age, gender or race, and it’s the most common cancer in children and young adults
  • Bloodwise has funded 4 out of 5 blood cancer researchers, and we’ve made great progress with many major cancer medicine advances coming first from blood cancer research. But there is much more for us to do – so join our team and help beat blood cancer.
