ON LATE DIAGNOSIS
We know late diagnosis is a problem.
Doctors not connecting the dots. Symptoms ignored.
Not enough is being done – but you can change that.
Late diagnosis can have a huge impact on survival
A third of people with blood cancer visit their GP three or more times before they’re finally diagnosed – more than any other common type of cancer. Some wait months or even years for a diagnosis.
And some only get diagnosed when they’re rushed to A & E.
That’s not good enough.
Your story can make the difference
We need to put pressure on the Government and NHS decision makers to prioritise the late diagnosis of blood cancers. We’re going to do so by putting them face-to-face with real stories of late diagnosis.
If you’ve been affected, we need to hear from you.
