The Forget Me Not Walk on Saturday 22 September is organised in aid of Bloodwise by Sandra and John Reeve in memory of their son, Tim. Everyone over 12 years old is welcome to sign up and fundraise to help beat blood cancer.

A day to remember

"There is so much to do to make sure more young people with a blood cancer survive and have the chance to make their dreams come true. It's ten years since Tim died and we hope to have a special day to celebrate his birthday and remember him and all the other people who have died of cancer." - Sandra Reeve

Why we need your help

More people under the age of 40 dies from blood cancer than any other cancer. The Tim Reeve Charitable Trust is working closely with Bloodwise to raise money to improve the treatment and care of young people affected by blood cancer and save more lives. All we ask is that you pay a small entry fee and raise as much money as possible.

By taking part in this event you’ll be helping us to beat blood cancer.

Entering the walk

You can register for a place in the walk online. The entry fee for the walk is £10 for adults and £5 for children.

The route

This year’s circular route is 10 miles, with a 5 mile option starting at Heybridge Basin, and takes you through the beautiful Essex countryside.

It starts at The Bull, Great Totham and follows footpaths and some stretches on country lanes to pick up the river bank path to Heybridge Basin. Following the river path from here, the route joins the canal for a while then follows the country footpaths back to The Bull.
