Great Scottish Run
Join our Bloodwise team of runners this year at the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run in either the 10km or Half Marathon and enjoy running through Glasgow while crowds of supporters cheer and clap you on to the finish line.
There are also junior runs happening on the Saturday so there is something for the whole family! The atmosphere at the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run is buzzing and this fun, lively and vibrant weekend of running really is a special event.

Inspire your whole family to get active on a fun day of running in Glasgow. From the toddler dash, to the mini racers, family fliers and the junior heroes, we look forward to seeing your little stars and runners of all ages taking part around the city centre course.
There are three options for the junior races. If you're aged 9-15, you can take part in the Junior Great Scottish Run and entry is £8. If you're aged 3-8 years, you can take part in the Great Scottish Run family mile and run with a parent or guardian and entry is £8. If you're aged up to 5 years, you can choose to run in the Great Scottish Run Toddler Dash which is free.

On Sunday the 10 k and half-marathon take place. The course starts in the centre of the city, in George Square, and from there takes runners past a selection of Glasgow’s finest venues and buildings. As well as crossing over the River Clyde, runners will take a trip through Pollok Park and Bellahouston Park, before heading back for the grandstand finish on Glasgow Green.
How to register for the Great Scottish Marathon
Registration for the 10km is £27 and registration for the half marathon is £34 and all that we ask is that you raise as much as you can for Bloodwise.
When you join our team you will receive a fundraising pack and personal ongoing support. Once you've registered please let us know via email at email@example.com to receive your fundraising pack. If you raise more than £30 you will receive one of our brightly coloured t-shirts to wear!
