Beautiful walk along the Exe Estuary Trail

This is a lovely ten-mile walk along the Exe Estuary Trail starting at Exeter Quay and finishing at Exmouth.

The walk is flat and mainly on public footpaths or cycling trails and so it is ideal for families and a range of abilities.  As the walk is along the Exe there are various train stations en route so if you feel that you want to shorten the walk then you can do, or you can continue to Exmouth.  We are lucky enough to have the support of the Puffing Billy in Exton who are kindly allowing us to use their pub as a lunch stop and a rest.

There are frequent buses and trains back to Exeter along the route to Exmouth.

Entry fees

  • Adults: £15 (tbc)
  • Children: £5 (tbc)

This includes your own Bloodwise t-shirt which you can pick up on the day.

The money raised from this walk will go towards Bloodwise and will help fund their life-saving research into blood cancer. We stop people dying from blood cancer, we make patients' lives better, and we look for ways to stop blood cancer happening in the first place.

Thanks to Devonvale Limited for donating flapjacks at this year's Exeter Walk. Thank you so much for your support!
