Run the Asda Foundation Yorkshire Marathon for Bloodwise and help beat blood cancer
The Asda Foundation Yorkshire Marathon returns to the city for the sixth time. The race leads runners on a varied route which encompasses both the city centre and scenic countryside.
The route begins on Green Dykes Lane and leads runners through the the medieval gateway at Walmgate Bar and past York Minster. Runners then head beyond the city walls and onto winding country lanes.
Drink stations and cheer points are positioned along the route and runners are timed using chip technology. After finishing the race, runners receive a medal, T-shirt and goody bag and can enjoy post-race drinks in the event village.

We have a limited number of charity places available. There is a £25 fee to cover our costs and we ask each runner to fundraise a minimum of £300.
