Heart of England Branch
Welcome to the Heart of England Branch page. We were formed in 1970 and we've been raising money to beat blood cancer ever since.
We hold lots of events in our local area, and we're always looking for new people to join our group, whether you'd like to get involved on a regular basis or just help out whenever you can. If you'd like to join us, we'd love to hear from you, so please get in touch!

Taking place on Friday 22 March 2019 at Warwick Sports Club, our race night is back by popular demand!
A table top “Race track”, complete with 8 wild animals, is the focus of the evening. Animals are purchased and stakes paid for, and then a die is rolled to determine the movement of the animals down the track. Will the elephant be delayed at the water jump; or the tiger take a snooze at the lunch stop? It all adds to the hilarity of the evening.
Sponsorship of each race, provided by local businesses & supporters, helps to increase the amount of money raised on the night.
Tickets are £10 and include a fish & chip supper. There is a cash bar.
Please contact organiser Anne Oliver for more information and tickets by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Saturday 2 February 2019 we held a concert at Northgate Methodist Church which raised an amazing £1,573!
We hope everyone who came enjoyed the performances from the Two Castles Male Voice Choir with Newburgh School Choir and organist Nicky Grant. And we’d like to thank you all for helping us raise so much money to help beat blood cancer.
Charity ball and auction
We held a charity ball and auction on Saturday 13 October at the Chesford Grange Hotel in Kenilworth. This event raised an incredible £3,778 for Bloodwise!
We'd like to say a big thank you to the following for kindly donating towards the raffle:
Bridge House Theatre | Warwick School Leisure Centre | Forever Living Products | The Duck on the Pond, Long Itchington | Embellir, Leamington | Nuffield Health | Hatton Country World | West Midlands Safari Park | Catteralls Coaches | Insight Hair | Kim’s Beauty | Geri Goward | David Witham | Gayna Rose | Sue Hitchman | Alison Martin | Stella Rutter | Karen Hancock | Anne and Jack Oliver
And thank you to everyone who came to the event, bought raffle tickets, donated and/or helped to make this evening a success, ensuring we raised plenty of money. We hope you had a great time!
