Patient voices It's All Over Now
Well what a day! We'd like to say thanks for everyone's support and how proud we are to have been able to do our bit for the cause.
Patient voices Countdown begins!
The shirts arrived the other day so it all seems more official now, Mine's ok but Lyndas is a little snug! (we'll change it on the day). Today was the last chance to get some miles in so we went out to do a nice lazy 60 miles taking in loads of villages in Warwickshire.
Patient voices Birthday Blast
Following Lyndas Birthday last week we only had time for a quick 20 mile ride so I suggested trying a reasonable pace. Upshot was Lynda beat her previous PB speed, managing 17mph average...not bad for an old girl of 50 riding what is basically a mountain bike....well done and Happy Birthday!
Patient voices What a great start to the day..
Having a couple of hours to spare, we set out from home this morning and within 10 mins we leave an urban sprawl of 5.6 million people behind us, replacing it with pastoral Worcestershire countryside. Swapping buses for buzzards...how cool is that!
Patient voices Getting ready for " A Grand day out"
We normally cycle 30 -50 miles once or twice a week, I hate hills, Mark likes them and so we get to bicker about routes and why Mark is mad for wanting to "do" as many hills as possible.
Blog A nice easy ride in the country
We popped out between showers yesterday for nothing more than a nice ride out in the north Worcestershire countryside. Chatting the whole way and having a good look around I was a bit surprised to see we'd done 30 odd miles at about 15mph, it seemed slower and shorter.
