Cards for Good Causes

Updated 29 Nov 2018

Why not volunteer for Bloodwise in your local Cards for Good Causes shop this Christmas season?

Who are Cards for Good Causes?

Cards for Good Causes (CFGCs) is the UK’s largest multi-charity Christmas card organisation which has been selling cards for Bloodwise for many years. They manage a national network of over 300 shops, throughout the country, from Truro to Pitlochry.  Most shops are staffed by volunteers from the participating charities and we would love some of our supporters to join them in raising vital funds.

What do we need from you?

Every year more and more volunteers are needed to help out at one of the 300 CFGCs shops across the UK, generally located in community locations such as churches, schools, libraries and town halls. All that is asked is that you volunteer for at least one 3 hour session per week, or one session per fortnight, for the duration of the trading season, on average 6-10 weeks from October – December. Training is given in all procedures including the use of the electronic tills and, where applicable, operation of credit/debit card machines.

Why volunteer for Card for Good Causes?

Cards for Good Causes is an incredibly important source of income for us – last year they raised an incredible £113,000 for Bloodwise which helps us to fund vital research and patient services. With over 300 shops, you are sure to find a branch close to you and it is such an enjoyable experience that many volunteers return year after year! Find your local CFGC shop.
