16 mile today been practising my strategy for the 26 Aug it feels comfortable
You'll have to let me know what your strategy is Brian - I'm doing the 52 miler and am worried I'm not going to be in shape in time. How often are you training?
Hi andy im pedalling only when ive got to having a massive drink before i start one of holland and barratts energy tablets in a pint of water 2 litres minimum on the ride with electrolytes and salt tablets for the heat and cramp worked a treat the other day never felt a thing and to finish with a recovery shake and a bath/showeroh and dont forget the rest days,very important,if you can tag on behind another rider too its amazing thatll take your mind off the aching muscles.good luck with the 52 mile youll do it.
