On Wednesday 14th September Bloodwise Ambassador and acute myeloid leukaemia patient Brett Grist (pictured) will be coming in to the office to answer your questions about his experiences with blood cancer.
Brett was first diagnosed with AML in May 2014 after developing a raging fever whilst on holiday with his family. Since his initial diagnosis Brett has been through a course of chemo, acheived remission, relapsed and, most, recently undergone an unrelated stem cell transplant. Brett has written about a number of topics from clinical trials and the stem cell transplant process to the psychological impact of relapse and the benefit of support groups. Brett's chat will be filmed and streamed live from 3 pm on the Bloodwise Facebook page in our second Facebook Live event and is a great opportunity for you to ask questions and find out more about .
Brett is happy to talk about absolutely any aspect of his experiences with blood cancer and is keen to answer any questions that you might have. You'll be able to ask questions on our Facebook page on the day however we're also encouraging questions in advance.
