My Second Big Challenge for 2014 was the Deloitte Lands End To John O'Groats ride with 700 plus riders

Without doubt this has been the biggest challenge since I took up cycling in 2012. Over 900 miles in 9 days and nearly 50,000 feet of climbing this was an achievment I am very proud of.

I wore my Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research jersey with pride. We were very lucky indeed to have such wonderful weather; no rain and sunshine for 9 consequtive days. Outstanding scenary through unspoilt counties and the highlands of Scotland wee a revelation of beauty having not been there before.

We were even fortunate with the midges as they behaved them selves with only one pit stop infested.

Absolutely fantastic achievement Michael, congratulations!

As a leukaemia survivor myself, I cannot tell you just how much of a difference your support makes. It's because of people like you that I'm still here today and for that I cannot be thankful enough.

Really interested to know what 2015 might bring - would you consider London to Paris again? Or possibly London to Istanbul - I know a friend of mine that did that but he's crazy!
