Thanks for taking the time to visit my LLR donation page and reading my story. I am currently a fit 66 year old who is still working and enjoying life.  In 2010 I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL), which came as a shock at the time, but fortunately I am still on the 'watch and wait' program. I have been a keen cyclist for a number of years and want to challenge myself whilst I am able and at the same time raise money for this worthwhile charity and help find a cure for all blood cancers. Last years ride was a challenge and I am sure next year will be no different - although I will know where the hills will be!

There are people who are more unfortunate than I am and I admire the courage that many of them show in handling their particular condition. So if this story inspires you please make a donation, of any amount, to help 'make a difference'.

Donating is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with LLR – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate your money goes directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for sharing your story Peter! Glad you had an amazing time on L2P 2014, and that you signed up already for 2015!

About 45 people have already so you're in good company ... I'm toying with the idea myself!

It was such a pleasure riding with you this year Peter, and I am delighted to see that you are coming back again.  Well done on roping in lots more of your friends - if you carry on at that rate we will have to think about a speed group just for WBCC !  Hope to see you at the re-union ride next weekend

Thanks Jonathan. Look forward to seeing you and Tessa on Sunday 3rd August.

There is a L2P re-union cycle ride in Nottingham on Sunday 3rd August where riders from the 2014 event will gather, reminisce about their experiences and embark on a 65 mile ride with the obligatory cafe stop at a midway point. This will be the first training run in preparation for the L2P 2015 ride.
