The reality of winter training!

Dark, wet and windy.

Well I guess this is what we have to look forward to for the next few months.

Dark, cold, wet and windy rides on the old bike that seems to have a brake jammed on, or a flat tyre, or simply a headwind! The reality is we have to face the fact to reach Paris we have to put ourselves through some tough training, and it starts here.

If we focus on the reason behind this, supporting the great work done by LLR, it becomes easier to face those early starts and certainly makes the effort more than worthwhile.

Fellow L2Pers, suck it up, grin and bear it, pedal for all you're worth. Paris is just down the road!

Loving the positive attitude Mark!

You've started training nice and early which means that you've got lots of time to get yourself in shape for London to Paris which is an absolutely amazing event and a lot of fun.

You might be a member already but there's a London to Paris facebook group which is really good for getting to know the other riders and for sharing training and fundraising tips which you might find useful:

Good luck with all the training and thanks for everything you're doing to help us beat blood cancer.

Completely with you on bearing it, just struggling with the grinning at the moment, perhaps that's for when the sun comes out and the roads fly by [alright flying may be hopeful].

Good luck, see you there
