Here at Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, our vision is to beat blood cancer.

This means 100% survival and 100% quality of life for patients diagnosed with any form of blood cancer.

We want every single person affected by blood cancer to live their life to the full, free from fear of relapse and the harsh side effects of treatments. To do this we need to make a BIG impact…

Our Regional Team support our fantastic fundraisers throughout the UK. We’re really excited to let you know about two days of fundraising and awareness raising this September, which is taking across all regions to help beat blood cancer:

On Friday 20th and Saturday 21st September our supporters will be joining together to help beat blood cancer. We have activities planned across the UK as part of Small Change, BIG Impact, to help raise funds and help raise awareness for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research

If you could you spare a few hours or if you’d like to organise your own fundraising event over these dates to help us make a BIG impact, we’d love for you to be involved!

We have a special page on our website dedicated to these 2 days of fundraising, with inspiring patient stories and details of events you can help support, at http://leukaemialymphomaresearch.org.uk/small-change-big-impact. From cake sales in Scotland and bag packs in Newcastle, to street collections in Bristol and supermarket collections in Newport, there’s lots you can get involved with to make a BIG impact.

We’re currently recruiting volunteers to help in various location throughout the UK, and if you would like to join our volunteers, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Alternatively, if you’d like to organise your own event as part of Small Change, BIG Impact, why not have a look at our A-Z of Fundraising Ideas for some inspiration.

Anyone can get involved, from school’s holding an own clothes day, to company’s holding a fundraising staff day. We’re thrilled to have people who are supporting us over these two days, and if you have an activity planned, we’d love to hear from you and to share this on our webpage. 2013 National Cupcake Week runs from 16th – 22nd September and so as part of this week, you could hold a cake sale or afternoon tea party to raise funds.

If you’re on Facebook or Twitter and would like to let us know what you’re doing to help beat blood cancer or would like to spread the word, why not use our hashtag? #smallchangebigimpact

We rely entirely on voluntary donations to fund our life saving research and every penny raised over these two days for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research will help us in our mission to beat blood cancer – stopping people from dying and making patients’ lives better.

If you would like to find out more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

It is very clear that the team have worked very hard to pull support from communities across the country.  It feels like a really galvanised approach that will hopefully reap BIG rewards - not just in terms of funds raised but profile and awareness too.  I wish you guys all the best and to show how inspired I am I'd like to offer my services in and around London on one of the days.
