Here in the regional fundraising team, we’re really excited to be in the latter stages of organising our biggest campaign of the year; Small Change, BIG Impact. This wide ranging campaign sees hundreds of supporters right across the country take on a wide range of fundraising activities, from hosting and taking part in collections in the biggest cities in the UK to baking cakes and selling them during their lunch break at work.
Campaigns like Small Change, BIG Impact rely almost entirely on an army of amazing volunteers, from patients to event organisers, and from Branch members to researchers and staff – they all willingly give their time for free.
There are still loads of opportunities to get involved; whether you’d like to organise a dress down day in your place of work, bake cakes to sell at school (we even have edible cake toppers to make your cakes really stand out!), help to man one of our 120 collections taking place across the country, or take part in any kind of special, sporty or silly event, we’d love to hear from you. If you are interested, please head to the dedicated section of our website to find out about events that are local to you.
We can use the small change you collect to make a big impact on the lives of the 30,000 people diagnosed with a blood cancer in the UK every year.
