A day in the life: Edwige Voisset, acute myeloid leukaemia researcher
Dr Edwige Voisset is a Bloodwise-funded Research Associate at King’s College London, where she researches acute promyelocytic leukaemia (APL), a type of acute myeloid leukaemia. Below, she tells us about being inspired by her work with the late Professor David Grimwade, the joys and difficulties of lab work, and the amazing story of why APL, once one of the deadliest forms of blood cancer, can now be cured in most cases.

Bloodwise’s recommendations for NHS England's long-term plan
The Government recently announced a ‘birthday gift’ to the NHS of an extra £20 billion a year until 2023 as part of a new ten-year plan. As a result, the NHS is currently planning for its future. Bloodwise, along with other charities, was invited to submit policy recommendations to NHS England to inform the long-term plan.
