Welcome to Blood Cancer UK in Yorkshire!

We're always keen to hear from people who want to find out more about us and our activity in Yorkshire - perhaps you'd like to fundraise, volunteer, or are interested in our research?

Our events are fun and rewarding, and we're always on the lookout for enthusiastic people to give a bit of their time - taking part, volunteering, or even organising their own events to help beat blood cancer. If that sounds like you, please get in touch!

We have some fantastic long-term supporters in Yorkshire, groups and individuals, organising many events and other fundraising activity.

You might want to get involved in one of our new Community Groups, being the local face of Blood Cancer UK in your area. Or, you might want to give some of your time to place collection tins in your local area. However, you might like to join in, we'd love to hear from you!

The Bradford and Leeds Branch was founded in 1964 and has organised many local fundraising events and collections. They have raised over £300,000. The Branch mostly fundraise now through store collections and always looking for volunteers to help.

The Harrogate and District Fundraising Group has been fundraising to beat blood cancer since 1972. Every year they host a range of events including their annual coffee morning and garden party, alongside running a number of collections in local stores and in Harrogate town centre. They have raised an incredible £492,325 over the years and are showing no signs in slowing down!

Since the Group's formation, they have raised an amazing £75,000 for blood cancer research and continue to support with events and awareness raising.
